As residents of Greater Indianapolis, we are well aware of the high quality of life our city offers us. The wealth of arts and sports events, outdoor and indoor activities, and fantastic restaurants leave us having to carefully pick and choose what we can fit into our spare time! Unfortunately, Forbes and Sperling’s BestPlaces did not place Indianapolis on their recent list of America’s Coolest Cities. An oversight for sure, but you may be surprised to see what cities did make the list, and in what order they fell.
Forbes and Sperling’s defined “cool” through six equally weighted categories: entertainment options, recreational opportunities, the “foodie factor”, cultural makeup, population growth, and age. You can read more about about the data behind which cities made the list here.
